Question for the message board programmers...

Say a company has a mailing list that people communicate on. Topics originate and are discussed via email. To keep track of this information is it possible to setup a messageboard style database on the web? It would need to be automated so every email sent through this mailing list is stored for people to read at a later date.

It absolutely is, but I'm not sure how this relates to AudiWorld

Or are you asking a general technical question?

Sorry for being so OT. I didnt know anyone else to ask. Someone asked me if it were possible and I figured you would know.

You described a mailing list archive. There are plenty of them available for free

Which ones do you like, Johannes?

We (the AAC) use majordomo for our lists, and I'd really like to be able to offer a web-browsable and searchable archive of the list traffic on our server. Right now I'm using Yahoo! Groups to archive the list, which is okay, but I'd ultimately prefer to have it all in-house.

Any suggestions?
