radio problems

radio problems
96' a6 wagon radio on with no key in ignition goes into safe mode enter code radio works fine.
start car no radio in safe mode or otherwise no disply,had a bad ignition switch,changed with post help did not fix problem, could it be the load reduction relay effecting just the radio everything else works ok thanks
