Believe it or not, I think that's how AWkawf search worked.. Maybe that's why that search sucked so bad too.

The old search was ordered by date and then relevance I believe.

The google method also can work well:

site:forums.audiworld.com/<put the forum here> <keywords here>

I found that to be more useful in many cases than the kawf-ul search we had before.

Since the old forums URLs are indexed and it appears are being either 301'd or redirected now the search should work.

If the new URLs get indexed in the coming weeks it should still work, as long as they index properly.

If you say so, I believe it. However, my memory tells me that it was first by relevance, then by date. I was usually able to find relevant results with searches there, and found that older posts were listed at the end. That is more logical to me than having irrelevant results on the list first.

The old search was extremely painful. I'm not saying the new is any better, as most forum software built in searches return a lot of useless results.

The "Google Method" will probably give you a more accurate result.
