Due to all the intresting comments from may participants from the rally about the BMW club, I think we have developed a bit of a rivalry here folks...

So here is what I was pondering with the camera guy that is filming our corporate video (he's in the bmw club).

How about in December or January having the First Annual Audi Club of Florida vs. BMW club Paintball war.

Same rules as last year: Must use rental equipment and all to keep a level playing feild yada yada yada. I think it would be pretty darn fun.

What do you guys think?

It's gonna be hard to leave all of my gear at home, but it would only be fair if everyone used the rental stuff.

I don't know where you guys did it last time, but there's a field a few miles east of the 408 on 50 called Epik. I've played there a few times and it's a decent field and REALLY close to the UCF area.

Also, my roommates brother used to manage on of the other fields in town, I need to see if he still does, he might be able to get us a deal if we go through him.

Could be really really fun.

I think they played at Epik last time. I've played there and it was definitely better than OPW.

And i think everyone pretty much had fun. They had 6 fields (2 indoor 4 outdoor)

...not BMWs. I like the BMW club a lot so far, but the pressing issue for the club is to be familiar with all the new techs they have and to build relationships with the guys who work on our cars, not the guys who ridicule our cars.

in gainesville, maybe. lap time vs lap time comparing 3s to A4s. etc.... might not be too expensive and it would be about the cars...

i'm sure paintball would be fun too.
