Default Is there a vent to the outside under the spare tire in the trunk?
I found water under my spare last night and no other signs of water leakage (I would image if it had been coming throught the rear window I would have water marks on the piece of particle board, or as Audi calls it, Woodette, covering the spare.....nothing).

The vent is under the bumper on the side of the car. There are some gromnets in the spare though.

Condensation maybe? Hot exhaust under trunk + cold ambient air...
