1990 Audi Coupe Quattro Project
Just bought my first Audi, its got the 2.3L L5 20V motor. Its bone stock except for the following;
Scorpion Exhaust
Snake Headers
Cold Air Intake
I want to get a few more horses in it, I have no idea where to start. I'd like to avoid turbo kits for now. Throttle bodies? injectors? ECU upgrades? What should I get and where should I get it? I've got $3,000 to spend. Thanks for the help!

I'm no expert, but I do know that a simple chip and exhaust can pump 300 horses out of that engine. I suppose you can start your search from there. Try 034 motorsports.
I'm jealous. Sounds like you have the setup that I want under my hood. College has left me pinching pennies with any of my projects.

to avoid boost i would suggest a set of mild cams and some stiffer valve spings, maybe a port and polish to go along with it? Also look into being able to deck the head to raise compression. unless eventually you want to go forced induction But even with raised compression i would suggest a tune.

the thing i would do if you don't want to go with forced induction would be to start here;

then;

if you end up with the hunger for more power then i would suggest this;
