7A Engine Oil Cooler Sandwich plate
I used to have the specs awhile back about using a stock volvo sandwich plate with an extended oil filter tube (whatever it threads on to) but i cant remember for the life of me what car it came on. Im thinking 840's? Anyone know?

740 or 940 Turbos
The plate can be found on the 84-86 740/760 turbos mounted right on the block with the filter on top of it. The later 87-91 740/940 turbos had it on a extension bracket that locates the oil filter in a easier to reach position near the downpipe. 92-95 940 turbos used a water cooling sandwich plate which I don't think you want. I'm curious as to what temp the thermostat is set to open it. I guess I could always put a temp gauge in my 745 wagon and find out.

Wanted to use turbo oil filer mount
The turbo engines have an oil filter mount that has fittings for an oil cooler. I have one laying around that I want to fit to my 7a engine. However, the turbo oil filer mount screws to the block using a large hollow bolt, but of course the 7a engine has a threaded piece sticking out where you normally screw the oil filter onto. How to remove that threaded piece, is it mounted with loctite or something because I cannot simply screw it out??
