Default Credit Card Dispute Complete

I ordered a direct fit cat for my A4 from these idiots last Tuesday. I was supposed to receive a shipping tracking number by Friday. I received nothing.

I called on Friday, and was told to wait 24-48 hours before they could provide one. I called again on Saturday and was told to wait another 24-48 hours before they could provide a tracking number. I called again today and was told to wait another 24-48 hours before they can provide a shipping tracking number. I am trying to get this part before my roadtrip to Canada next week. I simply don't have 24-48 hours every 24-48 hours.

I told them to cancel the order. I was told that they would get back to me within 24-48 hours to confirm IF they could cancel the order or not. At that point, I used my standard line of "you have two choices, you can either cancel the order on your end or I can call and dispute my credit card on my end, what's your pleasure?" The rep again stated that they needed 24-48 hours to confirm IF the order could be canceled. I told her that I would dispute the charge on my end and to have a nice day.

Called Citi, disputed charge, done.

I'm going round and round trying to not pay Audi's $800 price on the passenger side cat and I fear that I may end up having to do that because of these fly-by-night vendors.

Default I'm going through a similar (but less sleazy) vendor on a power seat module.

My front, passenger power seat module (on the C32) creates a power drain. There's a place called Potomac German Auto in Frederick MD that sells "salvaged" units. They've so far sent me two units, neither of which even functioned. To their credit, they keep sending replacement units; but at what point do I bite the bullet and pay a dealer $400 for a known-good unit?

Seriously, call up LaBree and have them send you out one. Or but a Random Technologies cat... so many options.

Am I mistaken that "officially" selling used cat is illegal?
