Default My new 19's not as bad on potholes as expected/warned, but still causes me to grimace

I've ventured into DC only once since I've gotten my new 19's, and it wasn't nearly as bad as I had expected. Granted I'm still driving like a grandma, and once the newness wears off I'm sure I'll be too lazy to avoid some pothole that causes me to flinch at the sickening thud. MD and VA so far is okay, except where they are repaving the roads and it's stripped with a big lip.

Default You'll be fine. I've had my 19s on for more than 1+ yr here and they still look like new.

Of course I could literally drive blind folded on my commute and my wife thinks I have a good eye for pot holes.

I think with big rims, you can't help but drive like a grand-ma. You just have to keep a close eye for potholes in the coming days and look out for them in the future. Caution, watch the roads carefully around Bethesda esp. on Conn corner E-W hwy. I can't believe they even let the roads be like that here. They look more like something you would see in downtown DC.

Good luck.

Default Damnit, first week and I just tore the hell out of one of them on a suicide curb

Any methods of repairing/sanding down the damage?
