One beat old miata now residing in my garage!
It will take a few weeks, but hopefully it will be track ready soon enough!

Let me know if you need any miata info. I'm just wrapping up my '96 on getting it track ready for DE in 2 wks.
What's the detail on yours? (yr, mileage, stuff it has/need ...etc)
My is stock everything (new crate motor)... except ACT pressure plate, Mazda Motorsports Bosal Spec Miata exhaust & cat replacement straight pipe, KBY AGX shocks, & Hawk HP+ pads (blues were too much torque for street tires). <a href="http://www.mazdamotorsports.com/">Mazda Motorsports</a> had 10% off all racing parts (non-stock) started back in 3/1. Not sure if still running. But definity signed up to get sponsorship if you're gonna track yours.

pretty rough now, but I will start stripping it this week...hopefully get some pics to. I will need to get a hardtop ASAP....I have heard Piper Motorsports does nice cages? I will build it generally to spec, but I am not planning on racing now..mainly just DE's so I may do some extras..IE oil cooler, extra chassis stiffener...headers

Yeah, I heard Piper is a pretty good local Miata shop. I talked to them a while back about a rollbar/cage and it was approx ~$1k... outside of my budget so I just went w/ a self-installed Hard Dog bar.
Also I would suggest 2nd thoughts before going full cage, if it's not a 100% dedicated track car. I think current SM rule requires NASCAR style door bar, which requires gutting the door panel. A buddy bought a car w/ (old style straight door bar) cage already in and it's a bit of pain accessing his interior. He's a small guy so doesn't have a problem, but I have to do yoga and stretch before trying to enter/exit his car...
The <a href="http://www.miatamania.com/Shop/ViewProducts.aspx?PlateIndexID=58109">Moss remote oil filter kit</a> is worth getting, as oem filter location requires triple jointed arms to get to easily.

Still buyin furniture and stuff...I guess I am gonna have to start painting the inside at some point so it doesn't look like MTV's Cribs....

yeah, I'd be up for meeting up...
i need to put some mileage on the 4000 now that it's tuned and ready to rock so I can REALLY up the boost :-D 890 miles and counting till 18-25psi is done!
