Paging the EE's out there... (Electrical question)
I need to find some single LED's to run either in series or parallel for the custom DRL's that I'm installing on my headlights. I plan to have 10 LED's per headlight, wired of the running lights.
My question is which LED's to get that will run of 12v, 5-10w lead and power all 10. Plenty of LED's online, even at RadioShack... just need to get some precise numbers to look for.
Here's an example of some bulbs to help out...

These light bars may be exactly what I need, very thin, and you can change the 18 LED's to 10-12...

check mouser.com or digikey
you could take 2 approaches....most LED's are 2v...so 6 or 7 in series (13.8 to 14 vdc...not 12 for a car) would probably work.....or you could put a small resistor in series with each LED...thats probably the best way. Just remember V=IR
