Default Ravelco Testimonials

One year ago, my S4 was stolen from the parking lot of the Montclair Whole Foods. It was found the next day in Newark, wheels and lights gone, sitting on the rotors, engine running. This, despite a top-of-the-line Clifford alarm, with all the bells and whistles. After the car was repaired, I had the Ravelco anti-theft device installed. About two hours ago (10:30 pm), I got off the train in Newark and went to retrieve my car from the parking lot across the street. As I approached the vehicle, I saw 2 men in the car, very busily trying to start it. I said, "Hey, that's my car." They jumped out and sort of stood there for a minute staring at me. I said, "Well?" One of them responded, "Damn, we been here almost an hour. What the hell you got in that thing?" Then they took off. I went out to the street and flagged down an officer. When the officer from the auto theft division (or whatever they call it) arrived, he expressed surprise that the car hadn't been stolen, given the high degree of local expertise in the field. I showed him my Ravelco plug and explained how it works. He was pretty impressed. So am I.

The customer below recently purchased a 2001 Audi S4 Avant L6-2.7L Twin Turbo Automatic Transmission AWD from Jack Daniel's Audi. The vehicle as recently stolen from right in front of his home and recovered two days later in East Orange, NJ along with two stolen motorcycles. The vehicle had LoJack Early Warning and the thieves left the vehicle to set for a cool down period in case a vehicle tracking/recovery system was activated. According to the detective, their intention was to strip after the cool down period.

Moreover, the customer stated had he know about the Ravelco he would of never purchased the LoJack Early Warning System which he paid about $1300 for the device. Now he owns a vehicle that will have Stolen/Recovered on a CarFax Vehicle History Report.

P.S.- I will be installing the Ravelco on 12/16/2005 on a 2004 Audi S4 L6-2.7L Twin Turbo 6-Speed Manual Transmission AWD.

Default Do some homework, first. There is no such thing as a 2004 S4 with "2.7L Twin Turbo".....

The 04's have a 4.2L V-8 AND have a theft deterrant system, including immoilizer, as standard.

Maybe research your target audience, before starting to sell us anything....

Default Your client is wrong, and maybe you should read everything they are sending prior to posting...

I don't mind seeing new products, but it appears they do not know anything about Audi's.

Their websire states:

NICB recommends "Layered Protection" to prevent auto-theft. The layers that the NICB recommends are (1) Common Sense; (2) A Warning Device (3) An Immobilizing Device; and (4) A Tracking or Recovery Device.

My 2004 S4, has 2, 3 and 4 covered.
