Control Arm + steering rack problem
Hello all, New to the forum. We moved to Columbus OH a year ago with my A4Q and family. Lower rear control arms are shot, plus tie rods, and two other front control arms. The Bosch cert mech is asking 1500 bucks for this. Plus they found out that steering rack is 'busted', wants another 1200 for that!
Know any good mechanic around Columbus who would do for less (I'll try to save money by buying parts as well)?

You coud do it...
You can get a control arm kit from PAP parts for just over $500.
The job is rough, lots of TIGHT little spaces. Did mine in 10 hours, did my buddy's in 20.
Call MotorKars (on King Ave) they do great work. I've had stuff done at Jan's as well...
