audi 200 lighting issues
my 91 200 has a weird lighting issue and i believe it to be the switch but i figured i would post it here to see what others thought about it... all of a sudden the dash, and parking lights wouldnt work...it was not the fuse or the bulbs, the headlights worked fine just now i had no dash lights or lights in the rear(started driving with the rear fog as it still worked) then yesterday they started working again... weird... any suggestions????

yes but the previous owner was the manager of an audi dealer and had all the work done by the dealership, the radio works fine, even gets radio reception...never had a problem with it... and now they work again, just started to work all of a sudden.. weird...

Check the trunk wiring harness.
You'll likely find a broken brown ground wire there, among other frayed wires.
I believe the dash ground and the back light grounds are the same, and sourced from under the rear seat.
