yet another problem: engine light flicker, no error code
Hmm, what's wrong with the 89 100. When I am sometimes driving, the engine light will flicker. Just one flash, with a variable duration each time. Usually just a fraction of a second.
Mechanic said he could find no error codes. Light does not stay on. Seems to not be influenced by weather, degree of acceleration, deceleration, or anything else. Although it seems that it comes on when I am giving the car gas and not coasting. But I have not been able to verify this since most of the time I am giving the car gas.
Any ideas? Could a failing catalytic converted cause this problem? Is it a bad sensor?
