I started my car to drive hoem from work and noticed that the Engine Lamp warning light came on and stayed on until i got home. Started it up 2 hours later and was Off and never came on again-same thing this morning-NO engine light
Should i be worried?-could some water ice, or snow get into something to cause that?

Other weird thing is that the manual says USA lamp would have a pic of the and the words below it saying engine.
the canadian version just has the picture which is what i have-is that an error or do i have a Canadian spec car?

Your dealer will be able to pull the code to the cause. Often these codes are minor. If the light comes on again, take it in as it may indicate a more persistent problem. Loose gas cap, failed oxygen sensor, etc. are some of the numerous possibilities.

I had the light come on too, accompanied with a rough idle. Service said it was due to a misfire and bad coil packs.

I had the similar EPC light came on and stayd on, then on the way to the dealer, the Emission light came on as well...they diagnosed the intake manifold was faulty and had it replaced. All running normal now.

im having the same problem with my car. the dealer has changed a few coils but everytime they put a new one another one goes bad. did you get all the coils changed in your car?
