Default Anyone going to be at the NASA event at Sears Point June 28/29?

We're going to run the two Honda Challenge races in the hopes of getting more attention for our for sale car (and we're going to break-in the new engine Friday).

Anyone running that weekend?

Default man, I wish NASA would run Laguna...it's my favorite track and we only raced there once...

in 1999 with NASA. I raced karts and Formula Fords there many times and even had a big accident there but always loved that place.

Not fond of Sears Point PARTICULARLY.

Default Interesting, I feel the exact opposite

I think Sears is way more interesting to drive than Laguna. To each his own...

Default it's like a kart track...

with lots of places to write off the car if you have a minor problem.

Default I agree...I feel less comfortable at Sears...

Maybe its because I was instructing a student..and we hit the wall at about the turn-in for turn #1. That definitely affects how I feel about Sears. The walls are too close sometimes.

I think that NASA does not run there because they can't have a huge HPDE event which is where the real money is made. The 25 car limit just kills their normal program. I will be there Saturday instructing.

Default we've changed our plans and seem to have a solid potential buyer...

who wants to see the car THIS weekend at Buttonwillow. Ryan has kindly offered us a free run in the enduro so we're going to hustle to try and get everything wrapped up so we can race Saturday at Buttonwillow instead of the following weekend at Sears.
