Anyone going to Rally Sprint of Lachute, 8th of December?
Gonna be my first rally sprint. Just got my co-pilot's license...
I'd rather be behind the wheel but it's not my car so I can't choose, can I
(doing the rally in a mazda 323 turned rally car)
regards,
Liam<ul><li><a href="http://www.casll.qc.ca/">In french only unfortunately</a></li></ul>

No, I can only do one more event till the end of the year...
Anyway, I think you need to do at least 2 sprints before a performance rally?
We(Vince B and myself)'ve done 2 TSDs before but the Lachute sprint will be our first perf rally.
Budget is also non-existant (car is ready, entry fee is $60US) because we just finished the tarmac season (road-race & Solo).
This sprint is only to close off the year on a high note (20 events!!)
I suspect next year will be even crazier.
hope to see you at an event soon, and best of luck at Tall pines.
regards,
Liam

hehe, winter is supposed to be the season where I rack up "Air loose" points
you know? like air miles, but these apply to your girlfriend. redeemable for racing days (spectating/racing no difference).
I'm counting about 28 racing events driven/spectated for this year alone (about one every 2 weeks, often an entire weekend..). click on my sig for a list....
man...don't tempt me, I'm trying to be a good boy
regs,
Liam

You don't need to fly
Probably a 3-4 hour drive for you. It's about 1 hour northish of Peterborough(Bancroft). It's about that for me.
I'm leaving early Friday AM, registration is in the afternoon. We just ended up with a room, at the headquarters, as 1 of our teammates dropped out.
A blown clutch, and damaged flywheel on Sunday did it in. We still have one car entered, Randy Zimmer driving number 15.
The weather is looking good, it should be a fine event.
