Ideas for a tow vehicle that is not a truck?
I am building a spec miata and I need something to tow it with. I already have way too many cars so I am trying to find something my wife will drive which eliminates a tall SUV or a truck. Something like an allroad that can tow 3500 lbs.

A Honda Pilot or Toyota Highlander will tow 3500lb.
Many minivans will also tow that and I think a Passat W8 will tow 4000. However, I think you should be looking for a higher tow rating. 5000 should be enough but the more the merrier.

Plush ride- monster V8- cheap parts- somewhat low CG. Put a reciever on that and you can town like a pig!
Okay- so you might think that is a joke. However, its all about brakes. I would be a little scared towing with a honday oddessy. What is the brake setup on that unit? Maybe you can put electric brakes on your trailer to compensate.
