Default Some interesting things I learned about springs for FWD A4

I was talking to a tech from a spring company today, as I am trying to upgrade my suspension. There are no RACE springs made (yet) for our FWD A4's. The only thing available is the sport springs, and he told me there is really only a slight difference between those and my factory sport springs! So until there is a real race spring, its not worth it to change at this time.<p>And I DID try to find anyone with race springs, Neuspeed, H&R, Eibach, and AavantGarde - nobody has them. Darn it all! Hmmm, maybe I could get them off of Yvan Muller's old BTCC car????

Default Nope . . . . . Re: I thought you had coilovers?

Not only are they too expensive, but I have heard they are not really all that stiff. Anyway, I should be fine with the KONI shocks, though.
