The car handled very good. Once i figured out the lines i was able to push it alot harder
into the turn and it was very predictable and never became loose or unsettled. With the current suspension setup there is pretty much no hint of understeer. It was neutral to a very slight hint of oversteer. I think it will be even better with the STaSIS center diff.
I just wish i had more power. The little K04 just doesn't deliver enough go-go on the straights. The first couple laps the instructor wanted me to stay in 3rd for the straight. Once i went to 4th it was better but i still couldn't get past ~100mph on the straight. I may have to look for a K04 hybrid of some sort.
How was the elise? It looked like a blast to drive one, but on the other hand looked like a handful to control it. It was good to meet you guys, hopefully i will see you guys up there again this fall. I think i will pick up some 'r' compounds for next time. :-)

Yeah it was tough to control that car on the first day with my Audi habits...
I managed to fishtail a couple times coming into turn 1. Its easy to carry too much speed into that corner. Luckily I could control slides once they happened and managed to avoid spinning. That almost never happened in my Audi.
I feel like its useless to learn with very powerful cars, even the Elise is not very fast but I would learn more with an underpowered car. Also, in both the Elise and S5 I would just hit 100 on the straight, and that was not nearly every lap.
