IPOD and IRA
ok, no one is answering in the A4 forum so maybe a New Englander knows. There is a $171 ipod adapter for sale in the audi collection. (the glossy magazine I assume we all get). Anyone have any experience with it? My fear is it will throw off something else, as the car is just a giant computer, and when you install something new on a computer, well, I know what usually happens to me.
It's not a techno package, just a plain old fine moro blue A4.
thanks

I installed or should I say, teddybgame installed the Audi part in our AR, good sound, terrible instructions.
Would go with icelink as it is easier to install and cheaper. Now Dice electronics.

yup, I liked it. it worked just like a cd changer. The only bad part was...
that you couldn't display the artist/song titles on the radio but it worked great. Also, you don't have to just leave the wire in the glove box (or wherever Audi tells you it goes. I had mine come up into the ashtry in front of the shifter and you could stand the Ipod up there.
