I used to just use an extra emergency jack that I got from eBay, until I read a post about an A6 owner having his hand crushed when his emergency jack collapsed. That should be used for emegencies only.

Went on the boards to find out what others recommend, and I fell in love with this one. Very sturdy, and very quick action. A bit heavy ...I do not have a garage and I have to lug it up from the basement.

Looks like a cross between the two. I'm not sure if ur original set was 16s or 17s, but snow tires on the 17s couldn't be too costly. They make such a difference, I don't know how you can live without them for the winter months.

EDIT ( I am referring to the sweet looking 17s, I know the 16s are dedicated winter/snow IIRC)
