Default NAAC Car Control Clinic on July 26th. Hone your skills!

NAAC is holding a car control clinic on July 26th at NHMS in Loudon, New Hampshire.

Note that this is NOT a track event; the format is similar to an autocross course except that the focus is on instruction and skill development.

This school is superb for new and experienced drivers alike. Bring your teenaged driver, and bring yourself too -- you'll both learn a great deal.

The cost is $99 for Audi Club members and $125 for non-members. Registration is open! Please join us!

http://www.naaclub.org/events/92/july-2008-car-control-clinic</a

Default no, that rough...

We wet down the skid pad so your tires won't get burned up (and so you slide more easily). Other than some minimal tire wear, it's very easy on the car (much more so than a track event).

Default I hope you guys make it. Regarding tires, this isn't a track day...

so honestly, unless you're talking about completely bald tires that shouldn't even be driven on the road, you might be better off with your old tires. Less grip => more slide => more learning. Also you won't be worried about tire wear

bald tires = yes, about 3/16 outer tire and nearly nothing on the inside edge
