You'd think they could at least afford one built in the last 10 years.

I just read that MA is killing about 40,000 student loans for next year, or something like that. WTF is the State doing with our tax dollars...still funding the Big Damn Dig?

the mass education finance authority was never funded by the state

they've had the same problems everyone else did with auction-rate securities in the last year. There have been huge problems in the credit markets, which have nothing to do with state funding.
