Default Poll: Those with snow tires, did you have them Road Force balanced or just just done on a regular...

machine.

Having some one season old Blizzaks mounted on my 16's this weekend and I am curious if I should have them Road Force balanced or not. My gut, and BD say no need to do so. What does everyone else think?

Default I did a roadforce balance as it was the only option on the shop made

avaliable for my 18" winter wheel setup. I was too lazy to shop around for anything else. I will say though that the balance is pretty much spot on. No vibration or shimmy.

Default I only do road force..much, much better, you should try it and see for yourself

I end up with less weights per wheel and perfect balance with no return visits.
Knowing how picky you are I recommend you try it

Default I've learned it's all the operator, and very little to do with the machine

I use Fastrack in Peabody and I am pretty sure they dont use a road force machine and they do a fantastic job.

Default Local guy does 'em...TireRack installer....they're perfect every time.

I probably wouldn't....but I'd bring them back if they weren't right....vibrations drive me crazy...if they weren't right and they couldn't get them right, I'd go road force balance..

Default You probably would be fine with just regular balance. I've never had an issue with Clair balancing

my wheels, no return visits.

Default I've never had anything road force balanced.

The guy who mounts my tires doesn't have a roadforce machine, but he uses a really nice spin balancer.
