GIAC KO4 set-up, new FMIC, and clutch.

Today we dynoed the race map on race gas.

Keep in mind my car stock did 112whp and about 117ft/lbs of wheel torque.

Granted I do not alway run race gas in the car but for the little 1.8T not bad.

94 whp over stock and over 100ft/lbs of wtq over stock, she can boogie..

Hope you guys had a good time.

Andrew

Default Whoa Andrew those are some awsome numbers that you are putting up. Congrats.

You've put a lot of effort behind the upgrades and I'm sure you are happy to see these results.

Default Woah, awesome!

That's about 60whp better than my car did with just a chip, and the K04s are only advertised as outputting ~30-40hp more at the crank.

Impressive!

Default awesome numbers Andrew, was your previous dyno with FMIC or SMIC?

I'm curious if you have a run with pump fas and FMIC to see if you made any power on the dyno with the FMIC. Some say you can, some say there is never enough wind to make a difference on a dyno.

Default Re: awesome numbers Andrew, was your previous dyno with FMIC or SMIC?

Previous dyno was done with the stock SMIC.

I will dyno sometime this summer on pump and see how much of a difference the FMIC made.

I am sure it helped a bit just not sure how much.

Default I went with the Southbend OFE S/S and LWFW. this was at KTR.

I went with the SS series and I am glad I did. Heavier pedal feel but very sure of itself. I was concerned about the LWFW and I still am a little bit. But it is gradually getting better all around.

I have not cashed in the dyno at YA yet. I should though...

Default No, it is an E-code FMIC, JeepRage runs one too. Fits (tight) but fits behind stock bumper..

B6 guys have had good results with it.

That S4 is getting parted out.
