The town assesment on my home just doubled. I can expect my electric bill

to increase by 50% as of January 1st. Does anyone want to join me in a group hanging.:-O

My assesment did double, but I was told that the mil rate was going down

Should be a wash or a small bump, but your taxes shouldn't double.

Where in Ct are you?

What is the point of money if you can't give it to the government??

Didn't say how much your equity rose, hopefully that went UP!

It's all relative.
You can buy something useful (Real Estate)
You can give it to the Government (Taxes)
But you can't keep it.

I'm talking about money.
