2008 AUDI Q7 3.6 TPMS issue
Hi,
I am new to this forum as I recently bought a new 2008 AUDI Q7, the honeymoon period with the car has ended and hence I am on this forum, when I bought my Q7 it had 149K miles on it, after I bought the car I took it to the dealer for general maintenance and Oil change,
Problem1 -- after the Oil change strangely the TPMS lights showed up the same day I took the car from the dealer, when I took it back they said the TPMS sensors lifetime has ended and needs to be replaced, they roughly quoted around 800-1000 bucks to replace them, I did some research and bought HUF UVS2000 universal sensors from Amazon and installed them at Costco, the Costco folks failed to relearn the sensors so I took it to Les Shwab, they charged me for relearning but after driving some miles the TPMS lights came back up when I took it back they gave me a procedure to follow for relearning which was already given to me by Costco which I already tried and failed at, the procedure was to initialize the sensors from MMI and then drive them for 15 mins at 15+ mph, I did that, but it didn't solve the problem, can anyone help me how to relearn the sensors or if anyone has done the same.
Problem2 -- I had replaced the ipod connector with a 3.5mm audio jack and it worked fine, until recently where the screen now is stuck at "The device is being initialized. Please Wait..", I tried resetting the MMI using the triple press method but it doesn't solve the problem, any more suggestions?
