In the time being. My wife uses the hardwired ethernet cable (which usually runs to the slingbox) during the weekdays. I've programmed her to replug it after use....and to NOT touch it on the weekends! Don't worry, it will be soundly plugged into the slingbox every Friday night. So, if you wanted to maybe catch a Giants game (Directv channel 696, or a Cal game on Saturdays (Directv channel 696 or 7) on Saturdays and of course the Niners on Sunday (either Directv 2, 5, or 11...I can never seem to remember) Feel free. My upstairs TV is yours, at least on the weekends!
Good thing my wife and I are huge bay area sports fans.....and that we primarily use our HD plasma downstairs for the weekend sports.
