great, although plagued, ride today. joec500 drove down from Marin, and dbtong from san jose met up this morning at fremont older, things were going well until i broke a spoke and had to call in early, then joe's derailer hanger sheared off so dave was actually the only one who was able to ride the entire trail.
despite the unfortunate, i believe we all enjoyed our morning.
already have a new rear wheel mounted, and i'm ready to go. sign in here and let us know if you plan on showing up.
scott, if you want to roll together let me know. i have a spare rail on my roof, and it's not far from our offices. (i don't think your rs4 will like your mtn bike inside...unless you trade cars)

a Saturday morning triathalon of sorts could be fun...
But we substitute the Swimming and running with Driving and eating? or maybe BBQ?
Anyways, good times guys, I was able to save my rear triangle as the piece that broke is non structural, it basically holds the Derailleur Hanger, but the actual structural support is the clamping of the rear wheel to the frame (Phew)
Now I just need to dislodge the broken hanger from my derailleur and get a new chain.
Damn, I knew i should have taken my other bike...Meh, next time
