Default I put the pics up so people can see . . . imho it's totalled . . . :(

Knowing a bit about the body shop biz and the probable mileage on your car I would have to say this is very near or beyond totaled as far as your insurance company is concerned.

If I had to guess, my buddy at the body shop would probably gimme a "good deal" and charge me about $8-10K to fix this. A quote to an insurance company would probably run anywhere from $10-16K I would think . . . probably more . . .

How many miles? Mods? More info . . .

Default the mileage is 76k, just did timing belt & new abs modual last week 2K. Mods are basic

chip
tint
rims/tires
H&R/ Bilstien
sway bar
scorpian cat back
turbo timer
ice link

but i'm really fond of the back nappa & blue alcantara interior.

I have been looking for good B5 avant, tip, kinda hard to come by with low miles!!!

maybe I could do switch out the interior to the avant?

I've also been looking at allroads, just cant seem to get past the seats & steering wheel

Default The body doesn't look just dented... it looks twisted...

And as much as body shops claim, fixing a twisted body can't really be done... at least right.

Default that looks like what happened to my old a4 the first month I had it

Some 16 yr old girl pulled out into 3 lanes of traffic, my lucky day. The subframe tubes running through the engine compartment were shoved off to the side, dragging everything with it. Hanzel's in Oakland paid a lot of attention to getting that right, then everything else (new panels, of course) dropped right in. Drove straight and true, until it cooked. Worth a shot to take it to Henry, for him to take a look.

Default i drove it today, drives true, there is a boost leak & fan noise...thats it!!

i've been looking for a 2002 s4 avant tip or allroad anyway so if they write it off I guess i'll just go down that route. Still i need somewhere to take it to for an estimate.

Default I'm very happy with Superior Body Shop, San Carlos

My driver-side front and rear fenders were damaged in an accident. Check out my picture poster (the ones without the RS4 badges).
