Stolen Audis in SF
Anyone else had their Audi stolen in SF recently?
My was stolen 2 weeks ago and I know of two others nearby in June. All three were broken into with key spoofing where the RFID key was sniffed out and amplified to the car. I was able to recover my car quickly but after a high speed chase, the they got away. In my car were found another Audi Key FOB, a Mini Cooper FOB, BMW and another hard key, Rover maybe?
Anyone else have similar issues? Thoughts on dealing with the key spoof issue? I know one person who is keeping their keys in their freezer.
