Default Summer Relief?

There are a lot less commuters during the summer - so that might account for it lately. I drive 40 miles everyday down 78 to Jersey City. In the last 2 years its been steady. Actually some road improvements have made it better.

Honestly I find the traffic better here than three other metro areas I lived for a while - Chicago, Dallas, and (of course) LA. I have lived in the Northeast most of my life and now appreciate that the traffic is fairly predictable and not that bad either driving or taking public transportation.
