Default Update on Vinyl wrap. I just spoke with a guy in Montclair.

I told him I just wanted flat(matt) black thinking it would be cost saving but thats not the case. Its bought in sheets and then passed through the laminator.

He seems to think to have my car wrapped 2000 A6 it will cost between $1800-2500.00. He said it would be cheaper if 3+ people wanted to get it done.

I also asked him about just buying the material and doing it myself. He is calling me back tomorrow with prices on

-my car wrapped
- My car and 2 others
- Just buying the material

He seems to think that with patiance and the right tools( high power heat gun/tourch) that a novice can do it.

I'll keep those interested posted.

is your paint perfect? I'm thinking it'll accentuate the imperfections (chips, deep scratches, etc)

Default You think? I figured it was thicker so it would cover them.

My paint isn't bad. No big dents but my front bumper could use some help. lol

Default Remember, I watched your hack, I mean, drill out your pinch bolt :-) Seriously, after watching the

bra being put on, I would never try it myself unless I had extra pieces in case I screwed up.

Just cutting the pieces around the panels is a real PITA. One slip and you pull that piece off and start again.

Default yea I hear you. I'll look into it. But I must say......

You can't compare a frozen pinch bolt to ANYTHING!!! =)
