VW Toureg TDI most environmentally unfriendly vehicle

It is....this is why...
I may get the details wrong but the gist of the explanation is right. The batteries are made here in the US. They are then shipped via cargo boat to the assembly plant in Japan. Then the cars are shipped back to the US for sale. By-products from the production of the batteries, as well as disposal, and the back and forth across the world 3 times thing....make the Prius sort of an oxymoron.
