My mom will have her 5-series; that's being used as family transportation now
She, coincidently enough, wants a Quattroporte eventually (although even she admits something like that is years and years off). My dad, idk, midlife crisis car maybe.

Did you like the Q overall or mostly the TDI package?
I just rented a Q7 3.6 for a week in lauderdale (needed to cart 4 adults + 2 children and was not getting a 'lade or Navigator) and was moderately impressed. A 4.2 or TDI prob would have been much more fun; the 3.6 sounds a bit rough.
But I don't see ever owning something that big. Much prefer the parents allroad.

please please please stay away from Maser coupes and cambiocorsas....
a guy i know spends every other weekend at the dealer. problems never end! and his uncle has one too - same story!
by just 22k miles, changed clutch, transmission/transaxle, drive shaft and rear axle, wiring harness, all 4 struts, AC compressor + heating unit, and countless fuses, sensors, and power accessories
also, the smallest pothole and u need a new rim, or at the very least an alignment
