XPOST: Meaningfull Fun POLL- $10K- what car? -Read requirements:
Backround-I was looking to replace an Acura Type R stolen from me years ago, but due to supply & demand now, these cars are going for way over book value.
Requirements:
1) "FUN Factor" -there was nothing like doing 8000RPM shifts
2) Manual transmission a must!
3) "Reliable"
4) "Sport & Compact"
(For me, my first thoughts were VW R32, but price is way too high.)
Let's hear your opinions

I'd find a used beat up TT, and go full on race with it.....
tear everything out, build out the engine, widebody the car. Hell yeah.
You should see the TT I put together in Need for Speed Underground 2, I want to build it for real so badly, LOL.

Early 92 Miata...
The best year built (in my opinion)...and one of the best cars ever built. You can get a high milage one for about $4K (if that) and a MINT Sunburst yellow, low milage for about $7. You'll have ton's left for mods, tires, repairs (not that it will ever need them... EVER). A hard top runs about a grand.
I miss mine dearly...

Yup. Great GT car. A bit heavy to toss around.

I really wanted a Galant VR-4 in the early nineties. I thought that it was an awesome car.
