Default Crater Lake Drive This Saturday (xpost)

Xpost from Cam Scott - BMW Club - does a great job of organizing rides and several Audis going - hope you can join

Entry Fee for the Tour will be $50.00 per car. I am waiving the normal $10.00 "Participation fee" for the event, in leu of the fact that we will each be making a charitible donation instead.

This is a 100% tax-deductable donation, for it is a Charity fund-raising event drive. PLEASE Make your checks out DIRECTLY to the Foundation. NOT to the BMW club.

"OHCF - Forget me not"

This way, they can properly credit each and every one of us who participate in the tour and if you have friends/family/coworkers, etc., that want to make a donation, that's great also.

This is truly a worthwhile cause.

We will be meeting at the Village Inn Restaurant in Tualatin at 7am for driver's meeting and breakfast. We will need to leave at 8am sharp, so we can get a good jump on a full day of driving to Crater Lake.

The Village Inn Restaurant is right next door to the new Bridgeport Mall off of I-5 at exit 290, just west of the freeway. For those of us who are needing to have a high-octane coffee before going, there is a Peet's Coffee just around the corner :-)

For those of you who are still looking for lodging, I THINK they might have a couple rooms left for Saturday night. The website link for the reservations is listed below:

Mazama Motor Inn. You can reserve at the following link:
https://resserv.secure.powweb.com/cl9973/form

Rooms are around 120.00 per night.

It is my understanding that there are a few local campgrounds around, for those who choose to camp out. I'm not really up on the information in regards to what is exactly available, so I apologize for the inconvienence ahead of time here.

I am looking forwards to this event, for it should be a lot of fun.

Contact me ASAP, so I can get an accurate "Head Count" for the event.

I will need the usual information.....

Color
Year
Make
Model
How many in your party
Cell Phone number that you will have with you that day.

Reminder of things to bring......

Talk about Radio capable of the higher GRMS Channels.
Your Donation(s) from you and your friends, etc., made out to OHCF
Full tank of Gas
Plenty of drinks and snacks to have while on the tour
Most importantly.....SMILES IN PLACE!

See you on Saturday Morning!
