Default Drove my first "old" Audi today...an Audi 200

owned by NO.Brazil (not sure of the year)...not a bad car, has some nice features that back in the day probably were fairly high end as far as luxary...I found it funny how it had a very similar "look and feel" to the interior of modern day Audi's

Default This brings back memories...

I learned to drive on an instructor-modified Audi 50. Two sets of pedals, one for me and one for the instructor. While I was agonizing over the clutch friction point, he would use his to slow down and check out the cute girls. Fun times.

Funny how the clutch feel - huge throw, friction point pretty high - is virtually identical on my A4...

Default Once I get that new fuel distributor, it will be better.

I like the car too. It is nice to be able to drive an old and a new Audi often on the same day.

It's a 1990, 10V TQ. Pearl white, like your A6.

Default 90% of the time they are wrong all the time :-P

I need to get a mechanical gauge, because those stock computers only read up to 1.8 bar and I am a little beyond that with my chipping. BTW, older audis refer to absolute as 1.0 so its not really 1.1 bar but .1bar of boost :-)

Default Are you going to do anything to the 200?

I would recommend getting a WG spring to build boost alot quicker. Definately makes the car feel faster although its still putting out same HP levels. You should detail it sometime and we can go take pics haha.

Default Yep. I actually think the computer on mine is pretty accurate. It only goes up to 1.3 under full

acceleration. That's to spec.

Right now it stumbles under boost because my fuel distributor (mechanical) is all f-ed up. I have a line on one for $50 so I'll just throw that in and see if it helps.

Default I don't have any big plans.

I just finished installing my old stereo left over from a previous car (Prelude - ugh). Now the stereo is worth more than the car...

I want to get this fueling issue sorted out.

Then, I'll probably get a chip and spring when I get a chance and then I'll be done with it. I definitely need to detail it because it was barely washed for about 5 years.

Good car.
