Default Gah, car got door dinged/scraped$@%!#%

Figures, park at the Boeing lot for the first time in awhile and this happens. 4 deep into the metal scratches, about an inch and a half lengthwise and all within a half inch spacing.

What can I expect to be the typical cost of a repair job from those who have had to deal with this? Queen city and other body shops dont like to give general estimates over the phone, understandably.

You couldnt identify the car next to you as the culprit?

Default No the lines of the car next to me didnt match the scratches at all. I must have looked weird

hunching down and checking the waterlines of the door next to me in relation to the scrapes for a good while.

The offender must have moved on or went out to lunch and parked elsewhere.

Default Nah there wouldnt really be anything they could do about it other than note it.

I'm sure it wasn't done with malice, just the typical apathy some people have with respect to cars...and not hitting them with their doors.

Oh well, venting helps the pain.

Default *sigh* The beauty of the B7 is blemished. I'm sure it was done w/ malice.

pure envy at the beauty that is the B7 S4.

Even in red.

Queen City will be expensive, but guaranteed for life and the quality of work is incredible.

Default You never know though, sometimes people come up the next day and report seeing something..

it usually goes something like "I saw a red car get hit by another car its plate was 123-ABC" and without knowing any info about the red car, nothing can really be done.. I guess your right though, it would just be "taking note" of it. Sorry to hear about your situation, Haury's up in Lake City Way is really good, and have great customer service!!

Haurys Collision

Default Might have MirrorWorks take a look and see what they can do?

If it's to the metal its going to be re-spray and might be spendy$$$.

If your deductable is low you may want to think about claiming this on insurance.

I guess realy depends on how big the estimate is to re-spray and blend.
