Piggie pipes...who can help me make them??
I'm a tool when it comes to tools and stuff, so pizza and beer will be provided to anybody that can assist or to anybody that's interested in seeing the process. I've been thinking it would be cool to have monthly Tech Sessions where folks can meet up and learn to do a little wrenching and do different "mod" projects. I bought a set of stock downpipes from STGIIS4, so I thought the piggie pipes could be a good opportunity for that. I just want to get the pipes made initially and then I'll worry about getting them mounted since I know that's a pain in the *** without a lift. Anyway, let me know if anyone is interested in helping out or just hanging out and we'll pick a time and place. Thanks!

Just make them? Do you plan to relocate the sensor bungs, or use the antifouler mod?
"Making" piggies is pretty easy. Lots of bashing and drilling. I did mine with the anti foulers, since I have zero welding capability.
Vice, drill + good sized bit to drill metal, and some chisels. Also, probably want a flapper wheel to polish the inside.
Eye protection and mask are also recommended.

I'd like to see the local Audi Club chapter set up some lift sessions with a local shop.
We did this in KC and DC. A local indy or dealer opens its lifts to the Club on a Saturday or Sunday and Club members put their cars on the lifts for free to do whatever. It was invaluable, and I'm disappointed to not see that happen here.
