And I actually forgot about T'giving at the time I posted that, so technically it's the 29th...
Our flights were delayed out of Raleigh (from the VIR event) due to rain, they lost our luggage, blah, blah, and then our Ibooks (which were going to burn the discs) both crashed. (Thankfully a recall item to be covered outside of warranty). We went and bought an addt'l external CD drive tonight to get the discs out.
If it makes everyone feel better, the Rainbonnet PCA (shot the day after Qfest), and Infineon event we shot the two days prior, all share the same due date. Q'fest orders will be going out first. (I unfortunately haven't started working on the Infineon stuff, ugh...)
I'm shooting to have all the Qfest orders in the mail on Friday (ahead of schedule). Will confirm on the forum if people desire...
In the end, yes the $10 rush charge is a bargain... We appreciate everyone's excitement to receive the images!

As Leslie noted below, the CD's are on their way out very soon.
Please note, as is our standard policy and noted on every order form an receipt, "all orders are guaranteed shipped within 15 business days from the first business day after the event".
Each CD takes roughly 1.5 hours to make, resulting in 45-75 hours of work from the avg event. The main time is jsut going through and pulling all the photos of one car. Then we have to burn each CD, place a label on the CD, package and mail.
Due to our shooting 120+ events per year and being on the road almost 300 days annually, it legitimately takes an average of 15 business days per event to do the job right.
I hope this clears things up.

It's never too late to order a CD.
The charge is $85 (vs. $80) for post-event CD orders. If you are interested, the best way is to send your information to us in an email to: info@sidelinesportsphotography.com. Please include your car information again, as well as your shipping information.
We take Visa, MC and Diners. If you do not want to send your CC in an email, please call our office at 847.837.2374. (All voice mail boxes are password secured).
