So Im trying to understand this "Football" but its so bloody boring
First off for about every 30 seconds of standing around they play for maybe 10
While half of the players are extremely athleticaly gifted, the other half is just plain overweight
To add to the overweightness theyr wearing tights
Snd now during teh 30 secs of standing around u have fat guys in tights touching each others asses n constantly playing with they jock strap
I guess I just need someone to explain the apeal of it all other then the having pride in ur home town that and that ur fat guys in tights are better then the other towns fat guys in tights

says a guy who shaves his legs and wears speedos.
you're an athlete, you must have some idea what football is about, and why they wear the gear they do. Or are you just posting dumb **** for the sake of posting it? (like usual)

Here's my explanation: College Football > Pro Football
Here's why I have "pride" in my alma mater. The players on that field went to the same classes I did,,, took the same footsteps on the campus that I did every day for 4-5 years. For that reason alone,, I cannot get passionate about the NFL. I have no connection to the players on the field. I still watch pro ball and really enjoy it but I'm not ready to get out razor blades when my team loses.
Not to mention, in college sports,,, the "athletes" are playing with heart. 99% of them will never see a penny for the work they put in every day.
I get excited when ANY sport is a success at my former school, not just football.

I think he's posting it because the conversation has come up at Wednesbeerday a few times.
He said that he doesn't understand the passion behind football. Sounds like he decided to watch a game or two and is now posting his thoughts.
Your reaction is uncalled for, IMO.

Did you go watch somewhere today? I almost called you to see where you were.
By the way, I stopped by Speedware on Friday and talked with Brian about the Tech Sessions. I got the same favorable response you mentioned and he told me to call the main office and talk with Ben, so I'll do that tomorrow and see if we make any further progress.
