"Decoding" A K26?
Well, I have in front of me a K26 off my engine donor 5ktq (engine going into my mod'd CQ). I've always wondered how to decode the various numbers in the castings on the back side of the plate between the cold side and center cartridge...
26 93(diam symbol) 13g
26 91(diam symbol) 18.3h
Anyone know, or know where I could find out? Just curious...
BTW, this is what a K26 looks like after you rebuild it, and coat the hot side and center cartridge with a corrosion inhibitor.
