Default 2.7 vs. 2.8 engine differences.

I'm trying to find out who actually knows the actual differences between the 2.7 and 2.8, all I can seem to track down is speculation.

I've heard variances in exhaust valves, 4bolt vs 2bolt mains, and the 2.7 having more forged bottom end goodies, but I don't know to what extent.

Any info would be appreciated, just trying to figure out what's most likely to break first =)

Default exhaust valves are different

2.7t has sodium filled and 2.8 doesn't...heads are different too.

Default how so? I always heard that the 2.8 and 2.7 used the same block

or at least for all intensive purposes. differences?

Re: sorry, well the head design. Has same size ports as the small port 1.8T head as well

as the 1.8t I'm assuming? what about the crank, etc? what's forged?
