Default A4 1.8T - Chip reset after batter unplug?

I am not sure on the answer and couldn't find the answer on a previous post.

I unpluged my car battery the other day and now it doesnt feel the same as it did before. Could that have reset the chip? I dont know what chip I have because I bought it chipped already. Is there any universal way I can see if there are any other modes available?

Default Yes it does if unplugged any time @ all. Would need to talk to chip maker about other codes??

Unplugging battery is only way to get rid of all remnants of some codes as well. You should do a throttle body adaptation and the chip will take normal time to adapt.

Default

checked the codes on it? might want to figure out what chip you have by popping the hood.

According to the mechanic, they say its a GIAC. I dont have any cables or VAG COM. Is there only one mode for GIAC, for example stock vs chipped? If not, how can I switch between them?

Default pull the chip out and get the numbers off of it and call your local Giac shop. they "should"

be able to look it up and see what program(s) is/are on it.
