AEB head

I've heard a lot in this forum that the AEB head has bigger runners than the other 20v heads, but are they just bigger or they have even more material to be ported? It has been difficult for me to find an AEB, so I planned to buy another and have an al out port and polish done.
And I've heard at a VW forum that the 20v Audi/VW head is limited because of the 22mm lifters, what is the cam limit for a 20v head? I do think that the guys at VWVortex are exaggerating....

The AEB has bigger ports which allow a much better flow

I am running a ported AEB head on my ATW dbw block with Schrick cams.

Where did you buy your cams...Did you notice a difference or did you do it w/ other mods?

Everything was done at one time.

I do think the cams are the reason my idle is not 100% smooth, even while I have it set at 1050 rpms.
