Any body know if a performance kit is available? I was hoping that K&N would do a 57i kit, but no luck. Green Cotton air filters and RamAir also do not make a kit. However, K&N supply a 57i for the Golf 2.0 16v (MPi) 1994-1997, part# 57-0143-1, could this be modified to fit the Audi 2.0 16v engine (engine code ACE)???? I'm in the UK and any help would be very useful.

Thanks, but I also did post this message there. No reply's from there also. I should think that the Golf K&N would be suitable with only slight modifications, I'm a pretty resourceful girl -I'll make it fit ;-)

Lastly, how much do you rate the Toyo T1-S tyres you're running? All four Pzero's I'm running will soon need to be replaced.

Overall, a significant improvement in both wet and dry grip vs. the Dunlop SP8000s that were on the car when I bought it.

Do not attempt to use the T1-S in snow, however. You may just be better off with slicks. At least the SP8000s were passable in snow, despite the fact they were not designed for it.

You should also refer to the thread I recently started in the A4 forum about problems I have had with cupping. I have provided a link below..
