I have an Idea for a supercharger, but the problem is the compression is too high in the 4.2's. It'd have to be some serious internal engine work to make it doable. Yo could do some naturally aspirated mods, like the mustangs & camaros. Polish your exhaust manifolds, get them heat coated, high flow cats(that'd be custom!), and flowmasters. That can be done, I've seen it. Unfortunately, can't say who or where....but it sounded like Nascar!

The demand for A8 aftermarket parts isn't real high, which is why you won't find a whole lot of available stuff, most everything will have to be custom.

but seriously, a few conversations with our favorate Audi sales mgr (uhrm, the one who sold the most Audi's in N/A in 2001), he mentions the dealing and bargaining with folks who buys A8's is almost non existent. They just come in (or have an assistant do so), drop the cash and drive away.

there is a company called Hohenester in germany, i think, that has done a few twin turbo applications on some A8s and S8s. i can't imagine that the tip trans could handle the torque that these setups put out (something close to the RS6's output IIRC at the minimum and more to customer's spec).
